"Musical Madness: Mushroomhead VS Slipknot

                                                                        
                                              -Musical Madness: Mushroomhead VS Slipknot-

I personally like both Mushroomhead and Slipknot and have listened to many of their songs but still see no similarities between the two bands except their creativity and similar music genres. For those of you who argue the "Slipknot VS Mushroomhead" argument and say they are the same and Mushroomhead is a "rip-off" of Slipknot, your argument is invalid.

-Mushroomhead

Mushroomhead is an American industrial metal band from Cleveland, Ohio. Formed in 1993 in Cleveland Warehouse District, the band's music can be described as a synthesis of alternative music, experimental music, nu metal, heavy metal, and electro-industrial  Mushroomhead have sold over 2 million units worldwide, and have made 7 studio albums and 15 music videos. During their inception, Mushroomhead has gone through many changes in band line-ups, with original members, lead singer Jeffrey Nothing, programmer Shmotz, and drummer Skinny, being the only consistent members.

 -Slipknot

Slipknot is an American heavy metal band from Des Moines, Ohio. Formed in 1995, the group was founded by percussionist Shawn Crahan and bassist Paul Grey. After several lineup changes in their early days, the band consisted of nine members for the greater part of their tenure: Sid Wilson, Paul Gray, Joey Jordison Chris Fehn, Jim Root, Craig Jones, Shawn Crahan, Mick Thomson, and Corey Taylor. However, the death of Paul Grey on May 24, 2010, left the band with only eight remaining members. Former guitarist Donnie Steele was the band's touring bassist in 2011.

As you can see in these two paragraphs Mushroomhead was created 2 years before Slipknot. I hope that clears up this argument over Mushroomhead being nothing but a so called "rip-off" of Slipknot. I definitely am not implying that Slipknot copied Mushroomhead's masks either.


                        -My personal preferences-
-I personally prefer Mushroomhead over Slipknot, mostly 
because I'm not as angry as I used to be and  Slipknot was an escape route and helpful tool to release some anger and unnecessary stress.

-This is my favorite song by Mushroomhead.



I am now working on making lyric videos for Mushroomhead songs, will take some more time and effort then I thought but still working on it.
